Lori, Registered Dental Hygienist

Born in New Jersey, but was raised in Texas, Lori Alban received an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Wharton College in Wharton, Texas. For more than 37 years, she has worked as a registered dental hygienist in Texas. She brings a passion for providing a caring environment for her family of patients, as well as educating those patients about maintaining optimal oral health.

Lori and her husband Greg have been married for 39 years and have 3 wonderful adult children – John, Chris and Meagan and their spouses – and 3 energetic grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys crafts, gardening, and spending time with her family. Her personal motto – “Live Well, Love Much & Laugh Often.”

Karen, Business Manager

I am a native born Texan and have lived in many areas of the state. My family is a big part of who I am and I travel to see them as often as possible. In my spare time I love to explore the local trails on my bike. I love to travel and bring my giant Labradoodle Ziggy with me whenever possible and together we explore and discover new things.

I have worked for Dr. Kessner since October 1999 and I am very grateful for the opportunity he has given me to follow my passion to help people. Over the years I feel like our office is my second home and our patients have become a big part of my life. I am also a Registered Dental Assistant and was Dr. Kessner’s Chairside Assistant for 9 years prior to my current position as Office Manager. I maintain my registration for Dental Assisting and continue to be well educated in all aspects of Dentistry. I love to smile, so what better way to spend my time than by trying to help others achieve a beautiful smile.

Kim, Registered Dental Assistant

I was born and raised in Dallas. My parents are originally from Chihuahua, Mexico so I am very fortunate to be fluent in Spanish as well as English. I am married and have three children. I spend most of my spare time raising my three children and our puppy Marilynn, a miniature Chihuahua. My son plays baseball so we spend a lot of time in the stands cheering him on. I love the outdoors and enjoy camping and hiking with my family. My sister lives in Colorado so we enjoy visiting with her during the holidays.

I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1998. I have worked for Dr. Kessner since October 2010 as his Chairside Assistant. We have a great rapport and I love being his second set of hands. My objective at work every day is to make my patients feel relaxed, happy and welcomed.

Eileen, Business Assistant

I started working part-time in Dr. Kessner’s practice in 1997 as a data entry clerk. I have had the opportunity to grow with the practice and I am now proficient in all front office duties including insurance processing, patient contact, scheduling appointments and answering phone calls. My favorite part of every day is working side by side with our amazing team to make our patients feel comfortable and welcomed.

I was raised on the east coast and moved to Texas as a newlywed. We fell in love with the people and culture of the Lone Star State and chose to plant our family’s roots here. I enjoy traveling with my husband whenever possible, movies, reading, volunteer work and spending time with our children and grandchildren who are all native Texans!
